This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 691624
New tools are now available on the SDHtake-off project website. A list of existing SDH plants in Europe can now be consulted, many guidelines facts sheets present technical and non-technical aspects of SDH and the new project brochure can be downloaded.
A ranking list of European large scale solar heating plants with a nominal capacity higher than 700 kWth is now available. This data base allows you to learn from best practice realizations, to find detailed technical information and cost data or to get in contact with the plant operators. Use the filter tool to easily select plants corresponding to the desired size, location or category. Benefit from this well introduced platform for presenting your own plant. The ranking list of large scale solar heating plants is managed by Jan-Olof Dalenbäck, Chalmers University Gothenborg, SE. The list was developed in cooperation with partners of the European Large-scale Solar Heating Network, Working Group 2E of the European Solar Thermal Technology Platform and the IEE Solar District Heating in Europe project. See the list.
The SDH guidelines are available as fact sheets produced by the project team together with external partners. Various technical and non-technical subjects are dealt with to help you find information about every aspect of the realization of an SDH plant. For a certain period the fact sheets remain open for commenting and discussion. The responsible project partner will be notified about your contributions. Visit the discussion board.
The SDH brochure is now available. It introduces the project by presenting the actual development of SDH in Europe and the actors of this progress. It also provides readers with examples and details about the specificities of each participating country. Download the brochure.
