This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 691624
On October 2nd, AMORCE organized with Tecsol and INES a workshop to present solar district heating to the district heating actors (local authorities, operators, consulting companies).
On the program: presentation of SDHplus, presentation of the first French project, information needed for the feasibility studies and a debate on possible technical and economical models in existing French district heating.
Also, the French annual survey on district heating 'road map' (local district heating development planning) was performed this summer. It included a question on solar district heating for the first time, and the results are quite encouraging: among a hundred answers, 40 district heating operators declared being interested in a pre-feasibility study for SDH. This result is not an illustration of the potential of SDH, but gives an interesting signal on the enthusiasm for this technology.
Save the date! The 5th International Solar District Heating Conference will take place on 11 and 12 April 2018 in Graz, Austria.
