This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 691624
The book covers all the key topics in the project development of a SDH plant: first feasibility assessment, detailed design of the main system components, hydraulics, seasonal heat storages, operation and maintenance, yield assessment, economic and financial calculation, as well as built examples of operating systems all over the world. The handbook was written by Riccardo Battisti, from the company Ambiente Italia, one of the SDHplus project partners. Contributions to the book also came from Franco Buscaroli and Marco Calderoni, representing the Italian District Heating Association and the University Politecnico of Milan.
Save the date! The 5th International Solar District Heating Conference will take place on 11 and 12 April 2018 in Graz, Austria.
