The local authority, Aeroe Kommune, and Marstal District Heating have developed a course which is about to be marketed on a broader scale. The program will include a visit of the four generations of solar heating systems present on the island, including the newly established Sunstore 4 in Marstal. A session will also be dedicated to the benefits and challenges of establishing this 100% solar-biomass district heating system. A chance is offered of trying the course for free. Travel and hotel must be paid for by the participants themselves. The dates are 21 and 22 October and 28 and 29 October 2013. Only one course will be held for free on one of these two sets of dates. Practical information and the detailed program are available here. By interest, please contact Mr. Jess Heinemann, Ærø Kommune, Mr. Lasse Larsen, Marstal District Heating or Mr. Hans Bjerregaard (tel. +45 20150520), before 1 October 2013.
